How many lux should I aim for? I will have to re check what options I have in getting the Arcadia jungle dawn.

The enclosure is unfortunately just the 8*4. The room isn't that brightly lit in the winter. The room is 32 sqm (my studio apartment, since I am moving for university) lit by three 7w 806lm bulbs in ceiling lights. There is also two smaller lights for decorational purposes, those are also quite weak.

Arcadia Jungle Dawn has output of 4Klux per roughly 2 sq. ft. when placed 18" above surface. It's not much when comparing to real sunlight, but we perceive brightness on non-linear scale so it's almost "daylight bright". However, half of that output is still looking very bright and easier on eyes for people living in the same room :)

I should note, that Jungle Dawn is a grow light and is higher priced than many others (like fancy Sansi LED or other full-spectrum grow light LEDs like Mars Hydro, Vivosun, AC Infinity, Sunblaster and etc.).

One more option I was thinking, what do you think about LED tubes?

I found this OSRAM SubstiTUBE T8 EM 1200mm 1800lm 6500K G13 LED tube:
Voltage (V) 220-240

Beam angle º 190

Power (W) 15

Maximum operating temperature °C 45

Lamp shape Tube, double-ended

Luminous flux (lm)1800

Light source LED bulb

Colour temperature (K) 6500

Lamp cap G13

Minimum operating temperature °C-20

Energy class E

Service life (h) 30000

Hue Cold

Instantaneous flammability Yes

Dimmable No

Intelligent lighting No

Again, I tried to translate this with AI on my own lol

LED tubes are nice, if you can find suitable fixture. The one you've linked will definitely need a reflector to make a beam of 120 degrees. Also, it's 1800lm per 1.2m length, so I would use a double-tube fixture. You can look for "batten" lights (almost the same LED tube but with a fixture and reflector and without restriction to be compatible with T5/T8 ballasts and stuff). I've seen a decent selection of tubes and such here - https://www.onninen.fi

Yeah, still working on the fixture thing. Most LED tubes sold here are T8. This one is meant to be fitted into a fixture meant for old style tube lights, which was consistent with most lamps offered in the desired kelvin range.
