You're welcome. If you're looking for house plants that you can use in the enclosure, African Violets and coleuses (hundreds of varieties!) are safe.

That's usually what happens. I put some oat grass and they just sat on it. LOL!

I use a lot of hostas. Mostly because they are safe, in my yard already, and they don't eat them!

I gave up on live plants, he can't kill fake ones anyway! Maybe try a tallerish pot he can't reach? My russian figured that out pretty quickly, though...

I set up an aloe plant in a pot, he hasn't really payed much attention to that...yet.

Although he did try to eat the wood wall in his new enclosure this morning.

I'm not surprised. From what I hear, RTs are alpinists level ninja. Some people posted pictures before of their RTs scaling walls behind sofas, backpacks leaning agains walls, sofa cushions, etc.

He's such a little trouble maker! It can be annoying, but there's also that element of comedy when you see a tort climb a 2' wall!

I gave up on plants, too, because my guys a great little climbers.
