I am curious what age Greeks become sexually mature. I have read some places that it is 6 years of age; other sources say 10 years. Is it a range? How can you tell when they have reached sexual maturity?

It's not age, but size that determines when a tortoise has reached sexual maturity. Most female Greeks are adult at 6 inches and males between 4 and 5 inches.

How long does it take most to reach that size?

it really depends on the genetics of the tort, the food water and care it recieves, housing (outdoor torts tend to grow faster than indoor) and whatever else may affect growth rates. torts are not like dogs, they shouldn't be fully grown within the year! they grow slow and steady, and a lot of factors can influence it. my two girl hatchling sullies were almost the same size when i got them, they are housed in the same enclosure and fed the same things... ayana hasn't grown at all, and safina is almost as big as moswen now with 4 growth rings on her carapace.
