Sheldon spend days and nights outside in CA, he has a igloo dog house with a heating lamp that keeps its around 85, he comes out during the day. Is there any issue with that...he did fine last year, but I want to make sure we continue to keep him well!

Is the picture showing us the inside of the Dogloo? Looks like there's plenty of room in there for him to grow. My only suggestion, if you don't already have one, buy the plastic flap that covers the doorway. Tortoises learn very quickly how to push it aside and get in and out.
