Shell concern

I noticed this area on Boris's back left side of his shell. It looks like it is cracked. Is there something I can do for it and prevent it from getting worse?

I hope you get an expert answer soon. Did you do any searches on the forum for "cracked shell" ????

From these pics....it appears to be something that has healed over....does not look as though the area goes clear through to the body of the tort....I would not be worried, but would keep an eye to assure nothing is reinjured....again, this is what I see from the pics...
