shell concerns

hello, i have had my tortoise (hermann) for a month and 1/2 now, her name is Valentina, should i be worried about her shell? please let me know and if there’s anything i can do to help her .. Thanks
p.s. dont mind the white stuff it’s from her vitamins

the best way for me to describe it is that it looks like pieces of wood are miss / wood chips

unfortunately i don’t, all i know is she’s a juvenile bc of her size but i don’t know her official age

I notice you have a double lamp fixture. What kind of lamps are you using?

Aw cute space! Think the only thing is it’s quite small, but I’m guessing she doesn’t spend long periods in there? I’m also curious what’s bulbs it is you use? Avoid any compact screw in uvb bulbs

i’m using zoomed brand

zoomed desert uvb and hearing it’s 75W and maybe 10 for the UVB i would have to double check

i try not to have her spend so much time in there recently i’ve been giving her outside time cuz i kind of think she’s bored, she’s walks around the borders of her enclosure too a lot (that happen recently) but due to me being full time in school she does spend some time in there
