Hey everyone I’m a new member! This is Pablo whom I have had since a hatchling & I’ve been trying to do everything correct but I feel as though as a new tortoise owner I have room for a lot of improvement. He soaks daily, has a balanced diet, I mist his enclosure a few times a day for humidity, he has UVA/UBV/heat, supplements as well etc. he has an indoor enclosure for safety during the night & an outdoor enclosure for daily exercise etc. The sides of his shell are completely smooth but along his spine there is slight early signs of pyramiding I think.
What can I do to reverse the starting of pyramiding before overtime it gets worse? How often should I give him calcium & vitamins in your opinion? What are some tricks you’ve used to get them to consume more grass? I make lettuce burritos with grass inside but he’s starting the catch on & he’s not impressed, I give him mazuri feed as well but he’s not a fan. He’s picky with grass it seems.
Thank you in advance!F7F6C4CC-E6AA-47AE-B90C-4E654186F77A.jpeg
