Shelly the Greek Tortoise is soon to be upgraded from a measly 3x1 viv to a 6x4 viv (not the best, I know, but all that is feasible at this moment in time and far better than what he’s in now!) After doing lots and lots of research and getting loads of advice from the lovely members of TFO, I want to break down my layout for his viv and see if there’s any pointers/advice you lovely lot can give me.

UVB bar with reflector - on for 4 hours a day
Ambient lighting - 14 hours a day
CHE - for night time heat/his cool end depending on what heat his basking bulb gives out
Basking bulb (flood) - 14 hours a day

I understand that. It's always fun to set up enclosures. Sometimes frustrating but always some fun. Then seeing them wander all over it is the prize.
