Signature Character Limit?

Is there a new character limit to the signature, tried editing my sig with an update of what animals I now own, and it told me i am over 73 character limit and 6 lines to long.

The character limit is not new, the number allowed may be though.

I believe there is a limit to both the number of characters and numer of lines. I think it is 100 characters, so it might be that you're over the line limit.
