Ziggy2 was apparently purchased for a science class as a pet but whoever purchased him didn't know how big he would get. They realized he needed a more appropriate environment so they contacted a tortoise rescue.
I saw his plight and lived in a nearby area so I emailed that I would give him a home. I already have a 12 yr old Sulcata, Elvis.
I live on 1/3 acre parcel with lots of room to roam and graze on weeds and grasses.
Ziggy2 has his own indoor and out door enclosures as well as the opportunity to roam freely when supervised.
