Skin color changes?

hi I have a random question I was looking a photos of when I first got my sulcata (pic with eating & you can see grass with his food) he looks darker compared to a recent photo I took of him. Is this normal? Should I be worried if he gets darker again? If you see my previous post he wasn’t being cared for & is very small for his age.

color change is normal. Looking at photos of my Herman from 8 years ago you can see how his skin, which started out looking like white leather, has gotten darker and spotted. His shell that use to look almost yellow is now a pure tan (brown) color. I think being in an outside pen under real sunlight has a big effect on shell color.
