How much is a 9 week old suppose to sleep? My little one seems to be sleeping a lot. Is that normal for his age?

Babies do sleep a lot. In the wild they are prey and spend a lot of time hiding and snoozing.

What do you consider a lot? How is his appetite? What are your 4 temps and your humidity? Also please send a pic of your enclosure so that we can spot issues you may have which would cause excessive sleepiness.

This is my Redfoot and he loves his place, but I like to take him out durin the day on sunny days to run around and graze.

The last baby I kept was a REDFOOT and it slept about 18 hours a day. Maybe more.

Babies do sleep a lot, but lets check for some common problems.

What is your overnight low temp and what are you using to maintain that temp?
Any UV bulbs? Coil types?
Are you soaking daily?
Is the appetite good?
Was the baby started well with the wet routine, or is this a dry started baby?
