Sleepy tortoise

I have a baby tortoise just wondering how mush she should sleep

They sleep a lot but watch other indicators closely. Is she eating well? Are you soaking her daily? Is her humidity being kept at the correct level, along with temps (babies need diffr temps than adults)?

As babies are frequently prey they hide a lot. My latest hatchling (born in late November) sleeps/hides 90% of the time.

I pull it out and soak and feed, it's active for 10-15 minutes then is goes and hides. It will come out and bask occasionally, but it hides/sleeps a lot.

As long as yours eats and defecates regularly I think there is most likely no issue.

They sleep.
They hide.
I had a baby Redfoot hatch outside in my enclosure.
I didn't see him until he was clearly several months old already.
Sleeping is normal for a baby.
However it can also be an indication of illness.
Check that its poop is "normal" and not watery. Check that they eyes are fully open when he's awake and that he seems to have a good weight for his size.
And check to see if he eats vigorously and is drinking.
