So is there actually an app?

Ik on the side when u press the 3 bars it says “download the app!” But whenever I click the button nothing happens! I have tried searching “tortoise forum app” in App Store and nothing comes up :/ (I have an iPhone)

I’ve seen a lot of other people ask about it and have apparently found one although those posts all seem to be old so I’m wondering if there WAS an app and it’s not a thing anymore or if I just can’t access it or if I’m the problem ahdkab.

Having an app would make this so much easier to use! I have just been keeping the tab open on safari and checking it repeatedly to see if I have any updates (since I don’t have the app I don’t get notifications) but I just can’t seem to find it! Am I crazy?

There used to be an app, but not anymore, The regular forum works just fine on my phone, but I usually use my lap top.

I use the app on an Android phone. Installed about a year and a half ago. Works just like the web forum, but I like being able to tap the icon and it goes straight there.

I'm old. I remember dial phones and party lines...

But - I get notifications in my email for every thread I comment on or watch here on the Forum.

Does your phone let you know that way? Tortoises move slowly, do everything slowly... email is probably fast enough for notifications. Its works for me, anyhow.

But then, my music is on vinyl... what do I know?

I run into the same thing, and figured out it's long gone. I use both a laptop and a Iphone. I get notifications via email. Check your notification settings on here, there is an option to receive emails for the threads etc your interact with.
