Hi everyone!
I need to find somewhere that I can buy orchard hay in bulk. Or at least in bags larger than a gallon Ziploc.

I know of a few, but I dont have spare time to go look at them all.

Thanks!

Oh and my zip code is 91654.

Look in the Yellow Pages under feed dealers then call around to stores close to you and ask if you can come sweep up some of the trimmings around their grass hay stacks. They usually will give you a bag full for free. Or even if you have to pay for it, it would be minimum, as a bale is appx. $15, so the 'leavings' would be much less than that.

There is a feed store in San Dimas where I buy timothy bales. They used to have orchard grass, but I'm not sure if they carry it any more. You might try checking with them. I believe it's called San Dimas Feed. Good luck!

I get my bales of hay at Midway City Feed. It is in the northern Orange County area. If you want more info, PM me.

Well, they used to be $15. The last bale of orchard hay that I bought (a couple of weeks ago) the price had shot up to $25. Something about the lack of water out here. Still, it is cheap food.

I only have one big sulcata (or will very soon!) So a bale will last fairly long.
