Some help for the newbie

My tort Sheldon hasn't eaten anything in 3 days. He sometimes may get a bite in here or there but that's it. He eats spring mix with grassland food mixed in. Any advice on what I should do?

The most common reason a tortoise isn't eating is due to him being not warm enough.

Double check all your husbandry and be sure everything is ok.

Also add more items to his diet then just the two things listed. Check out the tortoisetable.org for more edible ideas.

add some color,small slice of tomato, yellow squash, blossom... warmth and proper lighting,, water is very important too..

The basking side temp is in the mid 90s and the warm side is around mid 80s, is that warm enough? I will also try to add some color to his food today and see if he eats it
