Terry I really appreciate these pictures and not just 'cuz they are of cute tortoises. By placing the lightest and darkest one together and then the year difference photo, you have turned it into a very education set of cute pictures. Is that color difference a normal thing?

hi thanks for looking and you nice comments.i see a little variation but generally not a lot of difference between clutchmates.those are from different females the one on the right is from an older female the dark one on the left is from a homebred female this is her first year laying her mother is different again.
