Sore on Tortoise

My 4 year old hermans Tortoise has a sore/blister on it's neck. It may be its rubbed against something it it's pen or against it's shell. Can I treat this myself?

I have used the triple antibiotic ointment on my tortoise's scrapes before. Something like Neosporin. Be watchful for flies to lay their eggs on the wound. That's why ointment is good.

I too have had sucess with ointments like Neosporin.

Great, I've ordered some Neosporin from the US as I can't find any in the UK. In the meantime I've tried sudocrem antiseptic healing cream which seems to help.
