Speke or Bells??? Hmmmm

Please help confirm this beauty is a Speke hinge back? And not a bells or homes…I have another Speke who has different coloration but I’ve seen males/females differ in color….any insight would be great

This is belliana. The confusion is understandable as importers are intentionally mislabeling these to sell them.

Best to post a photo of the other one as well.

Be warned many of these are carrying / infected with TINC so watch out for any early symptoms of illness of any sort.

I believe the other one is a speke’s. They are much flatter in shell shape, and belliana are rounded / domed.

I was told by both sellers they are spekes, and I did my hw but every time I look at them in person I still raise myself doubts lol

I would highly advise you separate them since they are different species, and these imports are frequently carrying diseases.
