I have read that spiderling is good for desert tortoises from I think Game & Fish Department.

Is spiderling ok to feed to other tortoises?

What is spiderling? Maybe everyone else knows, but could you post a picture and elaborate on this edible?

When I GOOGLE "spiderling" it only comes up with baby spiders. Do we have the correct spelling?

I had a whole bunch of 4 o'clocks in my rain forest (it was fenced off from the tortoises while the rain forest grew). The Manouria tortoises ate it down to the ground in no time flat, when I removed the fence. I have never seen spiderling, though. But same family.

Interesting.

Yvonne, do you also keep a desert tortoise?

Yes, I have several of them, however their pens only have Bermuda grass, clover, dichondra, dandylion and a few other weeds.
