He looks fantastic. See how all the growth lines are level and on the same plane with each other. One is not higher than the next. If I zoom in on a couple of those pics I can see that the very first growth lines surrounding the shields that he hatched with, are slightly raised. All the ones after that are smooth as can be. I'm just guessing, but was your baby started dry for the first couple of weeks? Did you start with the humidity and hydration the day you got him? Just curious to see if my guesses are correct.

he was dry at first. I didn't fully understand that he needed humidity and moisture at first. So it took about 2 months before I really started soaking him and letting him outside everyday for sun.

Wow! Nice. I did not see any pyramiding. Mine seem to have some bigger ridges so I will have to take some close ups to find out when my camera comes back from the shop, again. I have more questions about mine because one of mine it looks like the scute is depressed on a couple of sides and the other two don't have that so when I get a camera I will have to post mine and see what the experts can tell me. Love how well your tortoise is growing!
