It looks as though it may be the beginning of a fungal infection. Treat it with athlete's foot cream for a week or ten days. You can apply the cream, then put a bandaid over it or tape gauze over it with duct tape to hold it in place for the day, Repeat the next day.Hello, thanks for replying! I have a uv lamp about a slate, do you think I should remove the slate? There’s no sharp rocks or anything else I can think of
I was thinking it could be a burn from a heat mat or a scab from sharp object. If you have a piece of black slate under the heat lamp, it can get very hot yet I doubt it can cause a burn. If you have a temperature gun or can put a thermometer for 1 hour on the slate, we will know for sure.Hello, thanks for replying! At the moment, I suggest you to follow zovick's advise. He has much more experience. Even if it's not fungal infection, applying medication won't do any harm.
