I have a sprout!
Out of like 40 little tray pots and baby food jars I have 1 sprout on day 3.
Screw you winter!

Wa-hoo! and Yippee!!! and let's give a big hip, hip, hooray!!!

One of Jasmine's seeds has sprouted! She's now officially a gardener.

Do you have the little trays heated and under bright lights? Seeds sprout when the earth reaches a certain temperature for that type of seed. For example, Bermuda grass seeds sprout when the earth temperature reaches 50F degrees.

So shining a light on the little trays, or placing a seedling heat mat under the trays will help them sprout sooner.

I have them under plant lights which also emit heat. The first one to sprout was closest to the heat source so I'm probably going to move some closer to the lights

See if you can get the soil temps above 65. I don't have the picture anymore, but I had 4 romaine growing from seed. Two were in a window sill in full sun (south facing) but about 65F. The other two were in the tortoise room with some fluorescent lights and warm (around 73-75F) temps. The two in less light but warmer ended up growing twice as fast and so they were twice as large if not more. I also had sow thistle that WOULD NOT grow in 55-65F temps (window sill). I thought they were duds but when I moved them into the tort room, they all sprouted the next day. Warm is good :D
