Hi Ed:

I don't quite understand what you're saying. Do you only allow the tortoise on the heat pad for a half hour, 4 times a week?

Cute tortoise, by the way.

So where does Squirt live the rest of the time?

Is that a black berry behind him? If so, Sulcatas aren't supposed to have fruit. Especially the babies!

Okay. So you let him out for a little leg stretching run around in that larger area with a heating pad? That's cool. Does he rest on the pad much, or does he mostly run around?

He likes climbing up and down the mat im hoping he will learn it's a good heat source . I figured I had to buy one when he gets bigger anyways and yes he does stay on the mat for around 5 min periods

Yes it's a berry he will not eat them just seeing if he he would and how much?

I know it's fun to experiment with different foods, but you don't want to harm your baby if he did have any.
