Thought I would give u all a laugh...

Yesterday I bought this vitamin cream for my torts shell...well tonight I got my tort sat her in my lap and started putting this cream on...as I'm putting this cream on her she squirts this horrible off white liquid along with this creamy white stuff....all over me.....sooo nasty....I ask my husband to get me a towel and while he is doing that's he is laughing and gaging at the same time....he gags I gag....ya....I took a shower and my tort is back in bed with a half shiny shell....I guess there's a first time for everything.....

For me it's kind of like after it happens with your kids it doesn't bother you as much. My little Sulcata Lola peed all over my hands once when I was showing her to a friend. My friend was absolutely disgusted and I was like "It's only pee. No big deal." It doesn't bother me anymore.

The white stuff in case you didn't know, is called urates. It's normal, it's a part of tortoise urination.

when i first got my sullie he would poop and then eat his own poop. that really grossed me out for a while. everytime i would bath him he would excrete this milky white urates all over the place and that was gross too. but now i'm used to it so it dosen't bother me as much. i've learned that if he eats his own poop then i don't have to pick up after him. plus everytime he pees in the water bowl the dog likes it and drinks it up. once again letting nature take its course and the less clean up for me...hip hip hooray

Tiago has never pooped in my hand.
But he peed on me a few times,
Does not bother me!
I once was talking to a friend and showing him tiago.
He peed all over i carried on talking like normal.
My friend looked at me then tiago and just shouted, GROSS!!!

My ball python uses me as a toilet at least once a month (the last time made a really big mess, liquid urine everywhere). Orrin hasn't gone on me yet

I always have Cooper on a towel folded over to make it 4 layers thick for just such times. And I have a stack of "Cooper towels" on standby for when he does dirty 1 up. But 90% of the time he only "goes" when he is being soaked. He is such a smart boy! Good luck to you!
