Wow that's a nice group! You kept them for 8 years? How much did they grow in that period?
I think my Luka grows quite quick (for a tortoise that is). Like I just went on a three weeks holiday and when I came back Luka looked bigger and was definitely heavier… he gained almost 300g and about 2†in size in 15 months. I’m interested how this compares to your tortoises…? Is it a similar growth rate?
When I get home I got to get some growth comparison pictures. I’ll open a new thread for that. Maybe guessing “his†sex is already possible?
But I’d really appreciate your input then of whether or not my Luka’s growth is smooth. I’m really not sure. It looks kind of smooth too me, but not 100%... just want to know if I’m going in the right direction (or if I need to spray and soak more).
