It can go away by itself, it all depends. If it is a RI then probably not it could just be bubbles. As long as appetite is good, and there is no discharge from the nose and no open mouth breathing, it could go away on it's own. I just wish the vet had done a better job on the diagnosis, for the tortoise's sake.

Yes...daily soaks would be great for a baby/young tortoise....every couple days for adults....:D In my opinion ..

If you mean how long should the soaks be I like at least 30we minutes in warm water...well I mean I like the tortoise to soak not me...lol

If you mean in the realm of how many times in your tortoise lifetime will you have to soak..pretty much figure it is good to do it well....forever...but of course less as your tortoise ages....:D
