Straining to poop

our little guy is straining to poop. We are adding cactus pads to his daily mix until he loostens up a bit (what type of aloe is good to feed?). Is there anything else we can do?

All of the Aloe vera variants are safe. If you buy one, I recommend repotting it in different soil. Wait for the new growth to feed.
The "pups" they put out on the sides are the parts I feed.

Make sure you do daily 30 minute soaks if he appears constipated. This tort is probably dehydrated.

Serve all foods wet - rinse leaves under the tap before serving. You can also try cucumber.

Yeah we bathe/soak daily. Cactus has helped. thanks for all the advice
