Strange lines on shell... Reason for concern?

Hi everyone, so I was spending time with Dezzi today (giving him a soak, weighing etc.) when I couldn't help but notice these strange swirly looking lines in his new growth rings on his shell. I haven't seen this before and wanted to check if it was normal or if maybe he has a deficiency of something. I hope the photo comes out okay can you can see what I mean.

It's perfectly normal for healthy babies to have those lines.

Do a search for "squiggly lines". You can read all about them for as many hours as you like.

My little redfoot has them. I think they look neat.
