Just stumbled across this one with another 20,000 likes. So I took him to the mall for photos with Santa a couple times and he met everybody. Friendly as he is, when the weather is not good to go to the back gate (indicating the corn field, Christmas tree farm, or a park) he goes to the front hallway which we now call “the bus stop” and waits to go for a ride and we go to the mall. I’ve been working from home so it’s usually lunch break. Of course he gets swarmed and loves it. He is probably the nicest tortoise that there ever was. Rarely brings his head in, not scared of anything and completely does not understand that he is different. I’ve watched him walk out the door just like people on busy days without a care in the world like he’s supposed to be there. He’s a character.
