would it hurt to see if my chaco will eat them? (im not gonna feed them to her all the time)

Right, you wouldn't offer invertebrates often, only as a rare treat.

Well, chacos are related to redfoot and yellowfoots, which are more omnivorous. But their diet is herbivorous, like Mediterranean and grassland tortoises.

You can offer it, but don't be surprised if she doesn't want it. If you do, please let us know how it goes. :)
