By baby Russian tortoise was born four days ago. I still have her in the incubator on moist paper towels until her yolk sac is fully absorbed. What substrate should I use on her next enclosure? Top soil with coco coir, or still moist paper towels for a month? I read somewhere to use papel towels for 4 weeks, and then the permanent substrate. any thoughts? I already built one with soil and coco coir, with a hide of very moist sphagnum Moss, but I’m willing to redo it…thanks!
