Is Is there any specific substrate I should use for my red footed tortoises I've been reading reviews and people say that I need to have 1 that can keep a lot of humidity in and keep it very moist for the tortoises? Please reply I really need some answers :)

A lot of people say to use cocoir, but its very messy. I use cypress mulch. It holds humidity well for me. You can use it with a moss hide. Lets see what others suggest.

I use coconut coir. I don't find it messy, although others do, I have never had a problem. Holds humidity very well and does not mold.
