Substrate

Hello all again.

So I'm thinking of changing my substrate from top soil to fine orchid bark or a mix and was wondering if anyone from the UK uses it and if so is it ok to buy from b&q or a generic garden centre...? I was in hospital for 8 days unexpectedly and although my husband did a fine job of looking after Rudy I have to say I was glad to get home *think he was too

I'm sure there are plenty of folks in the UK who dabble in orchids, so there MUST be places where you can buy orchid bark. If you can't find it with that name, look for fir bark.

I use pro rep fine orchid bark, you can get it on eBay for cheap
