On October first I released four of my rescue turtles. Their injuries had healed, they were getting food on their own, and gained weight. I released them far from human near a bayou. Though I will miss them I remember finding them hit by cars, an animal bites. Now they are healed up, and ready to be normal turtles again!

Near a BAYOU?? Where are you from? I'm in Louisiana.

I'm in Bossier City. My dad does rural work so we released them around Mansfield.

That is cool of you. I collect eggs from roadkill females, incubate the eggs for female, and then release the babies into the wild after they are showing robustness.

Awesome. I bury bodies eggs every year in the spots of road kills state parks and over harvest for pets.have found babies in the areas allways hope they were from me
