Sulcata Adoption

Hi I am looking to adopt a Sulcata tortoise 15 years+ I have lots of grass for it to roam and a large garden for fresh veggies! I am located in Savannah GA but am willing to drive to pick it up!

How big of an area do you have for a 15 yr+ sulcata? Are you already setup? Some pictures of your setup would be nice.
Yes! Do you have one available? I do Not have a House made for it yet but will be making one as soon as I have a confirmed tortoise to build the perfect house for it.

I do see some problem areas. A big tort will eat all those plants in one day. The elephant ears I believe are toxic. The fence has to be solid so they can’t see through it or it gets bulldozed. Have you reviewed the Sulcata Care Sheets on this site? Just hoping you are doing the research or you will end up with a huge problem and it usually happens during winter…

Are you willing to drive to Florida? There are usually always a few needing homes in Florida. Check out the Craigslist for the areas you are willing to drive to.
As for the house for one, take a look at the night box thread on this forum. It's an 8x4 foot insulated heated night box for full grown Sulcatas. If yours were to be on the smaller size, you could always divide it down the middle until he was bigger, or just let him have the whole 8x4.
