Hello,
Just noticed a pink line on my Sulcata’s plastron line. What can this be and is there any treatment for it?
Thank you

Pink lines are often just a sign of new growth - blood vessels - so probably nothing to worry about. How old is your tortoise ?

The tortoise is about 2 years old. The line is thicker than normal and looks more like a wound (circled in red in the picture).

Oh yes, I see that now. There will be someone who knows about these things soon, no doubt, but I suggest for now that you keep his plastron very clean, and put him on paper towels rather than substrate.

I would treat it with some otc antibiotic cream. Clean/wipe with water, dry the area and apply the cream. Do this at least once a day twice if you want. Put on paper towels so it stays clean. Continue until all healed.
