Hi All

Need a little advice again, my sully towards the end of the day goes to the far end of the garden and paces and tries to climb the pvc fence, it worries me he doesn't have enough room but I think he does, see attached photo, he also has his home with another short run outside the garden too, I plan on extending that sometime but I feel bad when he paces at the end of the day. Is this common behaviour?

Thanks
Stuart

Wow! You've a tropical paradise there!
Toward this time of year RV does a LOT of pacing, or as I refer to it "stomping the yard". I don't know if it is because the days are getting shorter, or the quality of the bermuda has changed so she doesn't care for it as much. She still has an appetite, but doesn't want the grass... She'll devour cactus, and other items not normally offered (summer squash comes to mind). Pumpkins are in, so I'll be getting some of those for her. You may try changing up the diet a little, see what happens. But if RVs behavior runs true to torts, expect the stomping to continue.
From the size of the yard and your tort showing up at the far end, I'd say you have pretty decent size (RV has simply the back yard in our desert-sphere) and she does well enough.

Well, he obviously thinks his night time resting spot needs to be on the other side of that fence. Can you move his shelter to a corner at that fence line?

I was going to say basically what Yvonne said. And good insight from Sharkstar.

Pretty normal behavior.
