Our sulcatas are officially yearlings now (they grow up so fast!).

I'm curious if/when to cut back their daily soakings. What's your soak schedule?

Thanks for the input!

I have a leopard. They are pretty much raised the same as Sullies. I went to every other day when he was about 15 months. Then when he hit two and older I do about twice a week. However, mine always does drink on his own and usually sits in the dish to do so.

Yes, they certainly do go up fast. My sulcata was started out dry. By the time I got him at about 9 months he had started to pyramid. I soaked he almost every day until he was two years. There were days that I missed, but he still got soaked 4 or 5 days a week. Now he is 3 1/2 years and gets his soaks in a kiddie pool outdoors. Since it has been so hot ( mid-90's) these last few weeks he gets in almost every day. I can see his head going down toward the water to drink even before he sets foot in the pool.
