Just thought i'd start a size progression thread of my little sully Bowser.
When Hubby and I originally purchased him from the breeder, he was 8 weeks old roughly around the end of November 2017. He is now 23 weeks old. When we purchased him, he was the smallest of the ones she brought out for us to choose from. I picked him because had the most spunk out of them all, full of energy, clear eyes, etc etc etc. We originally housed him in a 20 gallon long tank, which clearly was entirely way too small (super noob mistake) because he seemed miserable. His temps were great and humidity was on point but he just seemed unhappy. So we upped his tank to a 75 gal which measures 48" x 18" x 24" . It is completely enclosed and I have been able to successfully plant wheat grass, endive, escarole and bok choy inside the tank. He is in heaven in his new set up. He has way more room to wander, burrow and hide and he has grown so much since the upgrade. So here are some of the weights I have been tracking since January.
1/5/18: 66 g (15 weeks old)
1/12/18: 71 g
1/21/18: 72 g
1/27/18: 77 g
2/9/18: 78 g
2/27/18: 85 g (This was the same day we moved him into his upgraded apartment)
3/3/18: 92 g
3/7/18: 100 g (TRIPLE DIGITS!!! at 23 weeks and 15g in 8 days! wowzers, fat boy/girl)
Pic is of the new set up minus all the goodies that are growing.
