Plain pumpkin has a laxative effect and will help things move along inside, but it won't completely deworm your sully.

Actually, it will! The secret to worming (via pumpkin) is in the seed. The seeds need to be cracked open to allow the cucurbitacin to run rampant.

Generally speaking, torts should NEVER be wormed arbitrarily.

I always refer to Andy's article (see the link below) for the best info...but have NEVER attempted to worm...except for the fact that I do offer pumpkin once a week from September through December.
