Interesting how you got better results from the more natural method. They are a great looking bunch and each has something special to it's look.

They're all good. It's insane how fast they are growing. My oldest babcocki was bigger than all of them when I got them. Now they are all at least 2x bigger.

After talking with someone else...I think diapause may be the key that I missed incubating them out of the ground. This clutch stayed in the ground over the winter.
