In 2014 Erika (Hermanni boettgeri) laid a single egg on the surface of her outdoor enclosure.

I assumed it was a dud and did not incubate. I left the egg in my living room for about a month (I forgot about disposing of it). When rediscovered I candled it and saw veins. The egg was laid August 6th and hatched October 24th. It sat from August 6th until early September exposed to the natural temps of Philadelphia as I do not have air conditioning. Then I incubated on a heating pad.

Since then every clutch I've placed in my Hovabator have not hatched.

May 10th 2017 I found two surface eggs from Erika again. On a whim and due to the failures of my incubator I put them in the living room.

One egg looks good and I think I see veins, the other looks clear with a dark lump at the bottom.

Opinions?
