Tank the Sulcata

This is Tank, the Sulcata tortoise. He's still a little guy but we love him very much. Unfortunately he is also very sick right now. We're hoping he pulls through but it's looking bad.

I'll keep a good thought for the little guy...have you taken him to a good herp vet yet? Keep us posted with treatment regimens, feeding, etc.

We have taken him to the vet. She thinks it's a respiratory infection, possibly pneumonia. He was so weak, she didn't want to do a float test because she was afraid he would inhale the water. He was having a lot of trouble breathing and didn't breathe very often. She started him on injections, so we'll see if he gets better over the next two weeks. He is currently spending the night at the vet so they can watch him more closely.

The vet called a few hours ago and said they got him to eat a little bit of glucose, which pepped him up some, but now he's near catatonic again.
