Hello its been a while since I've posted. Been busy with the new kid and all. :) So we built an outside house for our little sullys and I'm wondering if it is warm enough for them to stay out at night with no heat lamp. I live in AZ and the lows are between 60 and 70. Should I still bring them in at night or will that be ok? We want to put heat lamp in their outdoor pen but have not done it yet. Any info would be great.

Thanks, Hauntmom

They will survive at 60 outside as long as it warms up during the day. Personally I prefer to have them sleep inside with warmer temps when they are little. If nothing else, they are safer from predators that way too. Once they are 10-12", then I move them outside permanently, but always with a heated house.

I say this because I live in an area with cold nights. Even in the middle of summer with highs of 110-120, we still get down to 60-65 at night most of the time. It might be different in your area.

This is good to know.I've had a harder time with temps. more than anything. Indiana weather is crazy this time of year. 88° one day 55° the very next. I'm constantly changing light Bulbs lately .lol temps still vary alot accept in her hide. It stays mid 80s. Outside the hide is a different story. :(
