Terrapin uvb question

Hi i have 2 terrapins in a 2and a half foot tank what uvb wattage will I need thanks if you can help

Hi Anthony, and welcome to the Forum!

Are you talking about water turtles...diamond-back terrapin? I like to use the 100 watt bulbs. For my purposes, the larger bulbs just get too hot. One of our members - RedfootNerd - raises DBT, so he would know a lot about any info you might need.

Dont know the breed of terrapins they were my sisters but she didnt know a lot about them
