The last few days here have been busy ones. 2 of my Russians decided to lay, one yesterday and one the day before.

It is deep Yvonne, but nothing compared to my Ornate boxes. They dig complete body pits, than the nest.

Dianne it is the first females first time with me, but I'm sure she has laid before. The second female it is her first time as she was small when I got her.

Trenton the incubation period is usually 60 to 70 days.

Tracy she is 6" exactly

Leslie it's the date (UK style), the subspecies, Testudo horsfieldi rustamovi or horsfieldi (but did an R to tell it from T.h.hermanni)
and the year

Unfortunately all 4 eggs are infertile I will though have at least 2 hatchlings from a previous clutch.
