11 months old, time sure flies by!
Hatch date September 1, 2017
October 10, 2017 - 53 grams. (weight before shipment)
November 4, 2017 - 66 grams
December 2, 2017 - 97 grams
January 6, 2018 - 158 grams
February 3, 2018- 232grams
March 3, 2018- 312grams
April 7, 2018- 449 grams
May 5, 2018- 561grams
June 2, 2018- 700 grams
July 7, 2018- 811 grams
August 4, 2018- 944 grams
Next month my little guy (or girl) is going to be a year old... I will have to make him a cake!

Lol. It is really strange to see how big Clunker is getting compared to how small mine still are. But then Sulcatas are probably about 20 times bigger in adult size in comparison to Angulata. For your reference Clunker is almost the same weight as my female adult.
Having said the above I have to say that Clunker is looking absolutely gorgeous.

Thanks Carol. It is interesting that at 2lbs he is the size of many other full grown smaller species!

Clunker is such a beautiful tort. I just love that little tongue poking out. I wonder if his beautiful colour will fade as he grows older?

I'm not sure. I have a feeling that over time, it will begin to look faded due to sun and weather exposure. That will probably take several years though and I hope he gets to be a wise old tort and we can appreciate the stories his shell will tell us.
