They have such pretty faces. Do you subscribe to the "spray 'til they drip" school of thought?

They look like they have more of the Sulcata look to them as the dominant genes.

Well yes ... I do ...actually , 2x a day ...once in the am and again in the evening. They have been like that since age 3 weeks. So we shall see how the regiment works on a so called " dry species" . The Rf's of course, thrive for the cooler / wetter enviorment. Their " hut" has built in misters that get zapped twice a day too!

Actually .. I see both ...and one more of a sully face and tempral' scale pattern. Coloring more like leos' , shell shape more dome like a leo but with enlarged serrations around rim like a sully. The mother was a Sully, and Pop's a Leo ...btw~

It's a little difficult to get use to. I see leopard torts then I blink and they are sullies, another glance and they are leos again. It is quite distinct in my eyes which traits come from which animal.

So weird. They really do look half and half. I would have thought that one or the other species would have shown more dominant traits, but they really do look half and half.

Thanks for the pics.

Definitely look interesting. I have never seen a sulcata/leopard hybrid before. Really cool, keep the pics coming!

It will be very interesting to see what they look like full-grown! I wonder how big they will get.

Wow JD...that's an impressive lot!

Just like Cameron, I've never seen a leopard/sulcata hybrid before. And now I want one!

Just out of curiosity - generally speaking, do hybrids tend to be closer to leopards or sulcatas in size?

Well Tyler, not sure about that ... I personally havnt seen any grown up?....it was just a few years back when I even saw one for the first time. I was not the producer of these but a very knowledgeable and super nice guy who I got the pleasure to meet and obtain these two lil ones , late last year. I have constant growth rates logged and will be fun to share as we all are curious to see how these two turn out.... such as size , weight , color ect.
