So now its getting warmer out I want to take Hudson outside. My concern is that I live in an apartment complex and I dont know if the grass is treated with pesticides or anything. Will he try to eat the grass? Are the possible pesticides bad for his skin?

If the grass has not been treated yet this year, then it would be safe, as long as there is at least six months since it may have been treated. Most likely a complex does treat their grass. You could get yourself a large container and plant your own grass, weeds etc and place him in that and put the whole thing outside for some sun. Just be sure he has some shade too.

Pesticide/herbicides/fertilizers are all hazardous to your tort....each of these eventually become saturated in the soil in which the plant grows and becomes systemic....which can not be washed off of the plant. I would make sure that the plats being consumed have at least a full year of growth before you allow a tprt to consume....
